Applying For a Grant
The Marietta Community Foundation reviews applications for grants three times a year. Grant requests should be submitted in writing to the Foundation. Each proposal received by the Foundation will be reviewed carefully. More detailed information may be requestedby the Foundation and a meeting arranged if necessary.
For the allocations committee to consider a proposal, a grant application must be completed and signed by an authorized official of your organization.
To remain flexible in meeting the ever-changing needs of the community, multi-year commitments are kept to a minimum.
To apply for a grant, please download our
online grant application (9kb PDF)* or contact the office by writing or calling and requesting an application and guideline brochure.
To be considered in a particular cycle, the application must be received at the Foundation's offices by February 7, June 7, or October 7 by 4:30 p.m. If the application is not received by that date, it will be held over for consideration during the next grant cycle.
Applicants should allow 60 to 90 days for processing and response.
