 Designated Funds
Anonymous Charitable Lead Trust
Established by an anonymous donor, the income is used to make annual gifts to six local charitable organizations: The O?Neill Senior Center, Marietta College, Marietta Memorial Health Foundation, Marietta Hospice Program, Washington County Historical Society and The First Presbyterian Church.
 
 
Appalachian Nutrition Network Endowment Fund
Created in 2007 to provide funding to support the operations as well as the expansion of sites for the Appalachian Nutrition Network Feeding Program
 
 
David Arneault Memorial Fund
Established through gifts made to the Foundation in Mr. Arneault’s memory. Funds are to be used to support summer reading program at Barlow-Vincent Elementary School.
 
 
Gertrude Bigelow Baker Memorial Fund
The Gertrude Bigelow Baker Memorial Fund was established by her family to celebrate Gertrude's caring attitudes as a loving mother and wife and her life-long contributions and participation in the cultural life of her college, church, and community. The Fund will provide for programs, equipment, instruments, personnel and other such needed expenses of the River Cities Symphony Orchestra.
 
 
The Bartlett and Cutler After School and Enrichment Fund
Established in 2005 to support a wide range of charitable activties as advised by three named representatives of the Warren Local School District. Representatives are to be named on an annual basis by the Building Principal.
 
 
Eirik A.T. Blom Memorial Fund       
Established by the members of the Blom family and Bird Watcher's Digest, the magazine Rick was closely associated with for more than 14 years. The purpose of the fund is to perpetuate the memory and legacy of Rick Blom through the presentation of an annual Eirik A.T. Blom award to a deserving nonprofit bird club. These awards are to be used to help fund the club's publications and/or outreach to members and new bird watchers.
 
 
Euna Brown Fund to Aid School Children
The Euna Brown Fund to Aid School Children was created to provide shoes, clothing, medical and dental care for high school children, but not necessarily restricted to high school children.
 
 
Jane H. Case Memorial Fund for the Betsey Mills Club
The Jane H. Case Memorial Fund for the Betsey Mills Club was established to celebrate the memory of Jane Case by providing for the maintenance and operations of the Betsey Mills Club in Marietta, Ohio.
 
 
Jane H. Case Memorial Fund for the Devola Volunteer Fire Department
The Jane H. Case Memorial Fund for the Devola Volunteer Fire Department was established to celebrate her memory and provide for the Devola Volunteer Fire Department.
 
 
Jane H. Case Memorial Fund for the Marietta High School Crew Teams
The Jane H. Case Memorial Fund for the Marietta High School Crew Teams was established to celebrate the memory of Jane Case by forever supporting the crew teams of Marietta High School in Marietta, Ohio.
 
 
Colony Theater Restoration Fund
Provides financial resources for the restoration of the Colony Theater.
 

 

Bill Curran Fund
Provides materials about alcohol, drug and other addictions and wellness issues for libraries at Marietta College, Washington State Community College and The Washington County Library.
 
 
The Dyar Endowment Fund
Income to be used to improve and enhance, over and above the regular budget, Christian education through Marietta’s Christ United Methodist Church or its successor.
 
 
Economic Roundtable of the Ohio Valley Trust
Provides speakers for the Marietta/Parkersburg communities through the Economic Roundtable.
 
 
The Faith Bible Church Hall Missionary Fund
The Faith Bible Church Hall Missionary Fund was established in 2006 to facilitate funding a mission trip by Stacia Hall or such other person or persons, should for any reason Miss Hall be unable to fulfill the mission.

The Faith Bible Church Hines Missionary Fund was established in 2006 to facilitate funding a mission trip by the Hines family or such other person or persons, should for any reason the Hines family be unable to fulfill the mission.
 
 
Fort Frye High School Academic Opportunity Fund
The Fort Frye High School Academic Opportunity Fund was established in 2004 by an anonymous donor as a permanent endowment. This Fund shall provide financial assistance to students in grades 7 through 12 that qualify for an academic extra-curricular activity but otherwise could not participate because of a demonstrated financial need. Fort Frye High School Auditorium Fund
The Fort Frye High School Auditorium Fund was established in 2004 by an anonymous donor to provide seed money for the installation of an air conditioning system in the Fort Frye High School Auditorium. Click for details.
 
 
Friends of the Armory Fund
The Friends of the Armory Fund was established in 2007 by the Armory Advisory Committee to provide a vehicle for funding the operation, renovation and management of the Armory Square Project.
 
 
Frontier Local Economic Development Association Fund
Established in 2005 to provide funds for charitable activities as recommended by the Frontier Local Economic Development Association (FLEDA).
 
 
Giving Program of Washington County Board of Developmental Disabilities Fund
Established in 2007 by members of the partnership to provide a vehicle for funding of partnership activities in Washington County.
 
 
Jean G. Graham Endowment Fund
Established in memory of Jean Graham, a talented artist herself, to support equally three organizations: ARTSBRIDGE, the Ohio River Chapter of the National Society of Arts and Letters and Marietta Community Foundation for its general fund to be used for art programs or projects.
 
 
Harmar School PTO Fund
The Harmar School PTO Fund was established in 2007 to assist with various projects designed to enhance the learning and life experience for students at Harmar School.
 
 
Incredible Community Playground Trust
For instruction, maintenance and organizational needs related to the playground.
 
 
Glen A. & Helen J. Imhoff Foundation   
Established to support a range of charitable causes as selected by Glen and Helen Imhoff. An annual scholarship will be awarded to worthy graduates of Bellaire High School and an additional gift will be made to make wishes come true for children facing life-threatening medical conditions. An annual gift will also be made to lead men and women to Jesus Christ and provide an opportunity for Christian men and women to grow in their faith and minister to others.
 
 
The Richard P. Kremer Memorial Fund
Established in 2005 in memory of Richard P. Kremer to support the scholarship program at St. Mary's School and the various activities at the St. Mary's Church as advised by Clare Kremer and Deborah Brown.
 
 
The Richard P. Kremer Fund for the Benefit of St. Mary's School Foundation
Established in 2006 from the estate of Richard P. Kremer with the principal to be held in the MCF and the net income to be distributed annually to the St. Mary's School Foundation.
 
 
The Richard P. Kremer Fund for the Benefit of St. Mary's Church
The Richard P. Kremer Fund to Benefit St. Mary's Church was established through the estate of Richard P. Kremer for the benefit of the St. Mary's Church.
 
 
The Inn at Marietta Resident's Fund
Established to provide educational and social activities for the residents of The Inn at Marietta and area senior citizens.
 
 
Lowell Moose Lodge 2382 Fund
The Lowell Moose Lodge 2382 Fund was created by the membership of the Moose Lodge in Lowell, Ohio to assist local needy children through the Marietta Shrine Club Fund and support the national charitable work of Moose Charities in Moosehart, Illinois.
 

 

Marietta Tiger Athletic Boosters Fund
Was established in 2007 by members of the organization to provide a vehicle for the funding of athletic activities in Washington County.
 
 
 The Foundation for Meigs County's Future
The Foundation For Meigs County's Future was established in 2005 by a citizens group to promote the common good of Meigs County's Future.
 
 
Mid-Ohio Valley Asthma Coalition
Provides educational programs and materials for the public concerning Asthma in the Mid-Ohio Valley.
 
 
The Mid-Ohio Valley Dragon Boat Fund
Created in 2006 through the inspiration of Gretchen Feldmaier to encourage and support people living with cancer to "Awaken the Dragon" within them through the sport of dragon boat racing.
 
 
Natural Resources Conservation & Development Fund
Established by the Buckeye Hills Resource, Conservation & Development Council to provide seed money for projects in the 10-county RC&D area. Click for details.
 
 

Noble County Community Foundation 

Established in 2005 by a citizens group to promote the common good of the Noble County area.
 
 
Ohio Showboat Theater Arts Fund
Established in 2007 by former members of the Board of Directors of the Ohio Showboat Drama, Inc., to support theater arts in the Mid-Ohio Valley. The oringinal contribution was made with residual funds from the sale of the Becky Thatcher Sternwheeler to private interests.
 
 
Osteopathic Foundation Fund
Provides assistance for increasing Selby General Hospital’s community outreach and marketing, helps support a volunteer group in the hospital and helps recruit osteopathic physicians.
 
 
Ken & Mary Owen Charitable Remainder Unitrust
Provides income for life to donors, and upon their death the remainder will benefit the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley.
 
 

The Premiere Show Choir Fund 

Provides funds to help with the activities of the Marietta High School Show Choir Premiere with the first project being the purchase of a trailer for Premiere's set and supplies when they travel to competitions and shows.
 
 
The Recovery House Fund
The Recovery House Fund is established to provide for the creation and/or support of a recovery house for substance abusers in Washington County.
 
 
Skaters United of Marietta Fund
The Skaters United of Marietta Builder's Fund was established in 2005 to create a new skate park in the city of Marietta. Founders Aaron Reynolds and Alex Wilson and others seek to provide recreational skating facilities to enhance the quality of life of Marietta and surrounding area.
 
 
The Fund for the Preservation of St. Jacob's Church
The Fund for the Preservation of St. Jacob's Church was established to celebrate the memory of Ida P. Zimmer by providing expenses to provide ongoing maintenance of St. Jacob's Church located along County Road 42 approximately 1/2 mile from State Route 375, in Fearing Township, Washington County, Ohio, for as long as the church shall remain. Such expenses shall include painting, carpentry, roofing, foundation work and other such needs as they arise in the preservation of the church building.
 
 
The Southeast Ohio Port Authority Foundation Fund
Created in 2006 to provide a funding vehicle for various economic development activities in the Washington County area of Ohio.
 
 
Cynthia Summers Endowment for Youth, Cultural & Arts Fund
This fund began as a memorial to Cynthia F. Summers, a teacher at Harmar School, who was known in the community for her commitment to young people. It now supports the work of the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club.
 
 
Tefft Memorial Bluebird Trail Fund
Supports bluebird trail maintenance.
 
 
The Marietta Area Community Tennis Association Fund
Was created in 2006 to support the sport of tennis in the Marietta Area.
 
 

The Lighting Committee Trust  

Finances downtown rooftop lighting projects and related activities.
 
 
The Right Path For Washington County Foundation Fund
The Right Path For Washington County Foundation Fund was created in 2006 to provide funding for activities and operations of The Right Path of Washington County which is devoted to enhancing the lives of young people in the Washington County area of Ohio.
 
 
Warren Activities Fund
Supports scholarships, special projects and student activities for the Warren Local School District.
 
 
Warren Local Schools Technology Fund
Established in 2004 to support a wide range of technology activities for Warren Local Schools as advised by the donors, Rodney, Kenna, and Andrew Short.
 
 
Washington County Household Hazardous Waste Fund
Supports hazardous waste programs and special environmental projects.
 
 
Washington County Partners Foundation Fund
The Washington County Partners Foundation Fund was established in 2007 by members of the partnership to provide a vehicle for funding of partnership activities in Washington County.
 
 
Project Lifesaver Fund
The Project Lifesaver Fund offers peace of mind to families of people living with Alzheimer?s Disease and other forms of dementia by providing portable tracking devices to ensure that their loved ones are safe and secure. Click for details.
