Contributions Top $50,000 for Flood Relief

The Marietta Community Foundation announces that funds received to aid in flood relief top $50,000.  Major corporate contributions have been received from Dominion East Ohio, Bank One, Chevron Phillips, Skuttle Manufacturing, Rea & Associates, Advantage Bank, Selby General Hospital medical staff and Marietta Emergimed, the emergency providers at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

Immediate disbursals have been made to Caring Connection and the Salvation Army.  Commitments have been made to area food pantries, volunteer fire departments and Washington-Morgan Community Action.
