WMOA & Foundation Partner to Celebrate Philanthropists

The Marietta Community Foundation and Marietta's "Full Service Radio" station, WMOA 1490 AM, recently launched a series of 30-second spots celebrating philanthropists in the Mid-Ohio Valley.
"Each of these individual 30-second spots recognizes a generous family or individual that has left a real charitable legacy through a fund at the Marietta Community Foundation," says Bret N. Bicoy, President & CEO of the Foundation.
This partnership is only possible through the generosity of WMOA and longtime radio celebrity, Johnny Wharff.
"Because of Johnny and the Wharff family, WMOA is easily one of the most community minded companies in the region," says Bicoy. "Our community is lucky to have them and the Foundation is honored to be affiliated with them."
The different 30-second spots will be broadcast multiple times each day through February of 2004.
"Tune into WMOA 1490 AM and listen to the different families we're celebrating ," says Bicoy. "With the assistance of Offenberger & White, we also hope to make them available on our website soon."
