Marietta Community Foundation is now Accepting Grant Applications
Posted 2007-01-16 by MCF

The Foundation considers proposals three times a year.  The Ludlow Township Community Club was granted funding for a construction project earlier this year.  The Appalachian Nutrition Network which fed over 36,000 meals this summer was also given a grant for equipment used in the summer feeding program.  Other recipients of grants in 2005 include Caring Connection, Marietta Family YMCA, O'Neill Senior Center and Washington County 4-H Advisory Committee.

Thanks to very generous gifts from our Unrestricted Fund donors the Marietta Community Foundation is able to operate without charging fees to our fund holders.  Thus far in 2005, over $50,000 in scholarships have been awarded.  In total, over $7 million have been granted since the inception of the Foundation in 1974.

Grant applications may be obtained at the Foundation offices at 121 Putnam Street, Marietta, or on the web site at www.mariettacommunityfoundation.org.

Please contact the Foundation at (740) 373-3286 to request an application or to discuss a proposal in more detail.
