$6,000 For Local 5th & 6th Grade Teams
Marietta Elks Club # 477 has provided $6,000 to fund area Pee Wee football teams this fall.  Twelve clubs are in line to receive $500.00 each to help with the sport.

The White and Blue teams at Warren will each receive a grant, along  with teams at Waterford, Beverly, Frontier and Williamstown.  In Marietta, the Putnam Red Devils, Phillips Bobcats, Reno Warriors, Harmar Hawks and Washington Trojans will each receive grants. In Lowell, the Lowell Patriots will be recipients.

The Elks Club is involved in a number of charitable activities throughout the year; this is the latest of their generous gifts to our local communities.  The Elks Club uses the services at Marietta Community Foundation for much of their grant making activity.
